The Backpacks Mod for Minecraft adds multiple backpacks to the game to increase the storage you can carry with you on your adventures.
Imagine carving your way deep into a cavern, when it finally happens, you find DIAMONDS. You mine them up, only to discover your inventory is completely FULL. What do you get rid of to make space? Everything you hold is important, so this is always a difficult choice. Once you make space for the diamonds, you must make the trek back home to unload. This happens too often. Solve this problem and increase your loot with new backpacks.
Once installed, the mod will add many different kinds of backpacks. The regular backpacks add another full size inventory. You can simply open the backpack by holding it in your hand, then right-clicking the screen. The regular backpack can be enlarged into an even larger backpack. The result is an inventory three times the size as an original one. The backpacks can also be dyed different colors like wool. Furthermore, there are ender and workbench backpacks. The ender backpack works as a portable connection to an ender chest. The workbench pack has two sizes; one is a portable workbench, and the upgrade includes an inventory.
Finally, to make sure you NEVER run out of inventory space again, you can hold multiple backpacks. You can have a separate backpack in each regular inventory space. You can organize your backpacks by color with different items in each one; a green backpack with all your food, a red one with all the redstone, a yellow one with all the gold, and a brown one with all your extra tools and armor. The possibilities are endless.
